Power Panther in the Classroom

Kids of all ages love Power Panther!  His EAT SMART, PLAY HARD message is simple and easy to understand.  It inspires students to choose more healthful foods and increase their daily physical activity.   

Power Panther Pals is a fun new 8-week program that introduces 4^th, 5^th and 6^th graders to Power Panther.  Each week there is an EAT SMART activity and  a PLAY HARD activity.  Click on the Power Panther Pals link in the left-hand column to download all materials for the Power Panther Pals program. 

Power Panther Preschool includes fun, educational nutrition activities to promote fruit and vegetable consumption and physical activity for preschool age children. Click on the link in the left hand column to download the Power Panther Preschool materials.

KN-TRAIN
KN-TRAIN is the acronym for Kansas Nutrition - Training Resources And Information Network. KN-TRAIN provides Kansas educators and child nutrition professionals with quick, easy access to high-quality, current nutrition education and child nutrition program related training resources.  KN-TRAIN resources can be borrowed by anyone with a Kansas mailing address who is affiliated with a Kansas educational institution or a Kansas child nutrition program.  KN-TRAIN is operated by Child Nutrition & Wellness, Kansas State Department of Education.
