The Fresh from the Vine newsletters were sent to school food service personnel during the 2004-2005 school year as an activity of the 2003 Team Nutrition grant . The monthly e-newsletters were designed to provide ideas to promote the excellent benefits of eating fruits and vegetables to students. They also featured a fruit and vegetable of the month.
